I started playing drums at the age of 13.
After high school, where I completed a Grade 5 in piano, I went on to study at the Campus of Performing Arts in Cape Town. (COPA)
In 2015 I completed my NQF4 Music Performance Diploma with drums as my major. I was also awarded with the "Outstanding Student" award in 2014.
I enjoy session work which has given me the opportunity to play in many different bands such as The Jim Harrison Project, Ruby June and B-Sharp at many great venues and festivals .
I teach Drums, Music Theory and Music Business at Legacy.
There are many plans and dreams in my evolving vision whereby I aim to find the perfect balance between teaching and gigging regularly.
This will continue to enable me to teach with unique perspective, including real world experiences from the stage and gig life in my teaching techniques and mentorship of my students.
